Brass Bonanza

Dear Brass Musician,

This is your invitation to a Brass Bonanza - a one-day workshop for keen and competent brass players.

What is it?
A one day workshop for Brass Musicians, hosted by David Clark.

When is it?
Saturday 8 September 2018, 9.45am until 5.15pm

Where is it?
Hadleigh Methodist Church, Chapel Lane, Hadleigh, Essex SS7 2PQ

How much is it?
Free... sort of! (But we’ll have a whip with a view to covering the cost of the hall hire.)

Why are we doing it?
Merely to have some fun, in good company, working hard on some nice repertoire, so that we end up tired, fulfilled and happy, one day older and a bit wiser.

Will I get a Free Lunch?
No, only complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits. You are welcome to donate a home made cake!

Is there to be a performance?
At 4.30pm there will be an informal play through, to which anyone is welcome to attend, free.

Do I need to register?
Yes please. If you tell us you want to come we can make sure there is enough music for you. Also we need to keep an eye on the balance! Numbers are limited, so priority to Early Birds.

What do I need to bring?
Instrument, Music stand, Packed lunch, Drinking mug.

Is there parking?
Limited parking is available for disabled, or lazy, and for those heavily loaded.
Morrisons Car Park 'over the road' is free for those fairly fit and carrying small loads.

What are we playing?
Repertoire will include The Kingdom Triumphant (Eric Ball) & The Graces of Love (Oliver Waespi).

11.30 tea/coffee
12.00 Rehearsal
1.30 Lunch break - bring a packed lunch and a mug (tea/coffee)
2.15 Rehearsal
4.00 tea/coffee
4.30 Play through the repertoire (for ad hoc audience)
5.15 Conclude
